4 things my wife and I did in our 20s to get ahead financially!

First, we opened a joint bank account so we could actually see what was coming in and going out as a team.

Second, we set up PODs on our accounts, which basically tells the bank who gets the money if something ever happens to one of us.

Third, we updated our information everywhere — bank accounts, credit cards, insurance, taxes, beneficiaries, everything.

And fourth, we made a list of everything we own and everything we owe.

Most people think getting ahead financially is just about making more money, but a lot of it is just getting organized before life gets more complicated.
